1. Finger Size
Ideally having the correct finger size is great start. Engagement rings are worn on the fourth finger on the left hand. If you don't know the ring size, you can:
Find a ring she already wears and take note of which finger she wears it on, bring it into us and we can estimate the size or take a measurement of the inside diamenter of the ring.
While we understand you might not be able to find or take a ring for the size, in that case, have a clear photograph of her hand and we can make a rough estimate - rings can be resized up or down two sizes to create the perfect fit.

2. Style
You might have some idea of the styles she likes and even better if you have screenshots and images of designs. We will go through our full collection with you and guide you along the way in terms of diamond size, setting style and choice of metal such as yellow gold, white gold or platinum. 3. Timing
The earlier you start planning the better!!! While we have many diamond engagement rings in stock, we often have to adjust the size or if a bespoke ring is being made it can take up to six weeks.
