The Story of A Birthstone Ring

Our birthstone ring design came about during a conversation I had with my mother.  She was talking about all the jewellery she had sold in her career but had nothing sentimental to leave to her two granddaughters.  

So we put our thinking hats on and came up with an idea.   She wanted two rings that she could wear herself and then could be given to her granddaughters when they turned 18.   We also thought it would be more meaningful if we could capture the birthstones of the three generations; Grandmother, Mother & Granddaughter.  

With this in mind, our design came together.  We placed the granddaughter’s birthstone in the middle with the other birthstones on either side.  It really felt like the granny and mammy were protecting their precious girl in the middle.

At the end of the process we  had created a personalised heirloom designed to capture the spirit of family, commemorations and the enduring bonds that hold us together.  My mother couldn't have been happier! We crafted two rings for her, one for each of her granddaughters.  She wears them stacked together and when the time comes, two girls are going to receive very special 18th birthday gifts!  This ring is one that connects the family and carries their story forward whilst also remembering their past.

Each ring is made to order with a lead time of 4 weeks and can also be custom engraved on the inside band with a message adding an even more personal touch.  The birthstone ring itself is crafted in 18ct gold and the gemstones are personally chosen with quality and vibrancy of colour a priority.  The premium natural cut diamonds beautifully accent the birthstones giving each gemstone its own space to shine.  The 'band' style also makes it perfect for stacking or wearing alongside your wedding and engagement rings.
